Are you aged 18-25 and looking after a friend or family member who is ill, disabled, has mental ill-health or is misusing drugs or alcohol, and could not manage without help?
Our Public Speaking/Confidence Building Training Programme is an exciting opportunity for young adult carers to learn new skills and prepare yourself to speak in front of others.
The aim of the programme is to give young adult carers the confidence and skills to talk about being a carer and raise awareness to professionals so they can help more carers to be identified.
This is a great chance to grow in confidence and help other people.
The first training session is on 11 July, 4:00 - 6:00pm at Newcastle Carers Centre.
The training programme has seven sessions and it is recommended to attended all of the dates:
- 11 July, 4:00 - 6:00pm
