Learning and training

There are many options to start learning again, whether this is a college course or even a short online learning course. Learning and training can have some real benefits to carers:

    • It helps you to get back into employment
    • It gives your another focus besides your caring role
    • It gives you a chance to socialise and meet new friends

    Getting back into work

You may have given up work to care full-time or you may want to return to work after your caring role has ended. The following organisations provide some useful information on getting back into work:

    • Carers UK - getting back into employment after caring.
    • NHS Choices - information finding work after caring, including financial information.
