October 21 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pmFree
Our Young Adult Carers Group meet online on a Wednesday evening. Join us for fun and friendly chat and an opportunity to meet other young adult carers. The sessions are aimed at building your aspirations – whether you want to develop your confidence, learn about work. education and other important topics or just have fun. We share information, play games and much more! You are welcome to attend the group every week or just drop in and out when you have time.
If you are aged 16-25 and look after someone who is ill, disabled, has mental health problems, or is misusing drugs or alcohol, and you are not employed to do this, then you are a young adult carer.

- Take a break from your caring role
- Get information and support
- Chat and have fun!

First time attending an online group?… If you would like to have a run-through to see how it all works just contact us and we can talk you through it and have a one-to-one meeting online to try it out!
Don’t have access to technology?… Don’t let that put you off, get in touch with a Young Adult Carer Worker and we can talk you through the funding opportunities that you could access to get the equipment that you need.
*Please note that if you would like to be involved if young adult carers online groups but can’t attend at this date/time we would like to hear from you. The groups were planned around information young people have given us but we are happy to plan sessions at other times if there is a demand from young adult carers. This could be to fit around work, education and caring to ensure you are able to access the support that you need.
Inspiring Change is funded by The Quilter Foundation, we would like to thanks them for their support in making these groups possible.
