There are 6.5 million carers in the UK.  Every year the national Carers Week campaign raises awareness of caring, the issues that carers face and the contribution they make.  It also helps people who don’t identify themselves as carers to get recognition and support.

As a result of the pandemic, support for carers is needed more than ever and this year Carers Week is all about helping to Make Caring Visible and Valued.  At Newcastle Carers we have some great events planned across the week for carers and professionals to get involved in.  Click on the links below to find out more.
