Policy Cabinet Meeting – Creating a Dementia Friendly City

Tuesday 22nd January

Policy Cabinet meetings are held in public and give Cabinet the opportunity to consider, with residents and partners, some of the biggest policy challenges facing the city now and in the future.

The next Policy Cabinet will be held on Tuesday, 12 February at 4:30pm at The Great North Museum, (Hancock) and will discuss what it means to be a Dementia Friendly City.  This is a good opportunity to review and consider how we are all working together to create a place where people living with dementia and their carers can live well, be active and involved.  To ensure our communities, businesses and services have an awareness and understanding of dementia and consider actions they can take to contribute to a Dementia Friendly City.

Please confirm your attendance at the meeting by emailing julie.campbell@newcastle.gov.uk.
